Local Party Support

Folks on the front lines — non-urban Democratic local parties and organizers — don’t have the support they need to win. We're changing that through our grants program. We’ve distributed over $1 million to organizing groups and are just getting started.

Local Party Support:

Local Democratic Parties need our support now more than ever. With limited resources at their disposal, grassroots Democratic organizers in rural and suburban areas often face significant challenges recruiting volunteers, finding candidates, and pushing back against MAGA extremism.

That’s why Contest Every Race is committed to helping Democrats compete everywhere. Since 2021, our local county grants programs have supported over 300 local parties in rural areas across 29 states.

Our grants program includes:

  • Quarterly grants of up to $600 upon the completion of monthly goals. (Subject to campaign finance limits.)
  • Monthly online training sessions.
  • Operational and staff support to assist with meeting grant requirements.
  • Free texting to reach Democrats and recruit volunteers in your county.
  • Access to briefings and training hosted by experienced organizers, partners, and state-specific experts.
  • Connection to a thriving network of organizers and activists.

Our local party support programs drive measurable results. In 2024 alone, this program granted over $1.2 million to grassroots efforts, sent 13 million texts, and helped local organizers knock on 1.4 million doors.

Apply to Our Grants Program by April 7
