I am a mom of three and a teacher. Two of my children were involved in two separate school shootings. It was just a matter of not wanting to continue to complain without trying to make things different. I wanted to show my children that you could do something and it wasn't hopeless. I didn't want the current representative to go unopposed due to his poor voting choices, so I filed to run for office.

Encouraged the investigation of supposed “widespread voter fraud” in a Twitter post sharing an August 2023 interview with Donald Trump by a far-right news organization. He wrote: “This scheme must be investigated to the fullest extent! Any threat to our election systems is a direct threat to state and national security according to @DHSgov”.
