I actually started thinking about running for office from the Contest Every Race text messages. I'm a veteran and take my oath to the Constitution seriously. I figured, I've fought once for this country, and I'm willing to fight for it again.
1) Abortion access.
2) LGBTQIA+ rights.
3) Disability rights.
DeLoach published social media posts questioning the validity of the 2020 election.
DeLoach voted for SB 202 that would make it a felony for friends or neighbors to help a person with a disability to return their mail-in ballot and HB 531 which would require drop-boxes to be moved to indoor locations, make voter ID requirements for absentee voting stricter and limit early voting hours.
DeLoach cosponsored HB 270 which would ban the issuing and mailing of absentee ballots within the 10 days prior to an election.
