The texts from Contest Every Race definitely increased my interest in running for office. I couldn't believe so many races went uncontested, so that was definitely part of the reason I decided to run in the first place. I've seen first-hand how lack of health insurance can devastate families, and believe no one should be refused cared due to financial limitations. I want to protect Medicaid and help millions of Americans have peace of mind knowing they will be okay in an emergency.
