As a U.S. Army Vet, I know what it's like to fight to protect democracy abroad. Now, I'm doing it again but this time it's back at home by running for state legislature. I never thought I would have to do that, but when I know conspiracy theorists are in positions of power, I'm compelled to fight back. I want to be an advocate for rural communities to improve health outcomes, and to make sure we are taking care of our public schools instead of privatizing education.
