Why are you running for office?

One of the biggest motivating factors for me running for office was the feeling of hopelessness when Roe fell. That was very ominous for me. I have a daughter and a grand-daughter and I want them to live in a world with more protections, not less. I knew it was time to take a stance. I'm proud that I've been able to turn that hopelessness into action.

What issues or causes in your community are most important to you?

1) Abortion/reproductive rights

2) Healthcare

3) Education

Opponent

Jason Ridley

Ridley published social media posts questioning the validity of the 2020 election. Co-sponsored or voted for legislation that would make it a felony for friends or neighbors to help a person with a disability to return their mail-in ballot, require that drop-boxes be moved to indoor locations, make voter ID requirements for absentee voting stricter, limit early voting hours, reduce the amount of time voters have to return mail-in ballots, and propose audits for elections that would examine voter registration and absentee ballots.
