Why are you running for office?

I'm running because the students of Pennsylvania deserve a fair shot at the successful education that is necessary to set them up for a successful life. We are number 41 nationwide for education funding and my district suffers the consequences. I also know what's it like for Gen Z and Millenials to get priced out of housing- we need a representative with lived experiences that reflects the challenges of modern society.

What issues or causes in your community are most important to you?

1) Education

2) Healthcare

3) Housing

Opponent

Brett Miller

Miller signed several letters calling into question the validity of the 2020 election, including a letter to the Pennsylvania Congressional Delegation urging them to “object, and vote to sustain such objection, to the Electoral College votes received from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania during the Joint Session of Congress on January 6, 2021” as well as letters to Inspector General of Pennsylvania Lucas Miller and Attorney General of Pennsylvania Josh Shapiro in December 2020 calling for an independent review of the election.

Miller has been outspoken about the potential of fraud and corruption during the 2020 election, and was one of several GOP lawmakers who met with Audit the Vote PA activists at the Capitol in 2021.

Miller is also one of many GOP lawmakers who has claimed that the certification of the 2020 election in Pennsylvania was “premature, unconfirmed, and in error.”
