I hadn't really thought of running for office too seriously, but continuously was faced with the effects of income disparities in my own community. I looked into who my representative was, and found that she was dangerous for public education, even being funded by Betsy DeVos. We need someone who will strengthen, not attack, our public schools so every student has a chance to earn a living wage and have a fulfilling life.

In a 2020 Facebook post, Bollin claimed that “Michigan elections laws were not being followed” at the TCF center in Detroit during the 2020 presidential election, and accused the governor and secretary state of “hijacking” elections.
Bollin has also signed a November 2020 letter to the MI Secretary of State alleging election fraud, and calling for a “full, independent audit prior to the certification of any results.”
